2008 Summer Undergraduate Research Training Program

REU Program Capstone Poster Presentations
Students will present and defend their summer research accomplishments at the Poster Competition at the end of the 10th week of the Program.

Faculty Jury for Poster Presentations
A panel of 6 non-REU mentor engineering and science faculty, each assigned to evaluate 4 posters, will judge the students’ work and presentations.

Prizes for Top 3 Poster Presentations
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three presentations and all students will receive a certificate of commendation.

Presentations/Publications of REU Summer Research Project Accomplishments
All REU students will be encouraged to co-author and present a paper at a technical meeting during the coming year. Such participation by a REU student will be supported by the REU budget for travel, registration and housing.
