Educational Innovation Strategy Design Committee:

The team is charged with making recommendations to the steering committee
regarding:

• Building innovative programs and developing innovative curricula
• Reviewing recruitment strategies and admissions process/standards for all programs
• Considering the issue of a department-based teaching model versus an integrated model
• Assessing educational programs within these models
• Creating sustainable funding models for all educational programs
• Assessing size and scope of educational training programs
• Developing method to capitalize on the centers of excellence for educational goals
• Identifying opportunities to continue to expand the cross-disciplinary team educational efforts underway in TUH/UC
• Reassessing/restructuring the GME and CME programs, given changes in the environment
• Addressing other educational issues as identified in the interview summary report
